Arranging a consultation or
an operation

Consultations are available by appointment only by ringing any of the surgeries and saying which surgery or vet you would like to see.

If booking your animal for routine surgery such as neutering or dental scaling, polishing and extractions, please call North Tawton on 01837 82327 or Okehampton on 01837 658777 and arrange a morning appointment. Please bring your animal in starved from 6pm the night before, but allow access to water until 8am.

Arranging a visit

To organise a visit to your farm or premises please ring our main North Tawton branch on 01837 82327. Although we do our best to meet requests regarding time of visits, please note that emergency cases take priority and flexibility from our clients is very much appreciated.

Although visits for small animal consultations are possible, we would encourage you to bring your pet to one of our surgeries – the range of drugs and facilities that we can bring out are limited and a better service is available at our North Tawton, Hatherleigh or Okehampton branches.

Emergency Veterinary Attention

We operate an emergency veterinary service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Please ring 01837 82327 to get through to our out of hours call centre. You will be asked to give details of your problem and a contact telephone number. A veterinary surgeon from the practice will then either come directly to your property or will telephone you with instructions.
